History of the Southside Sportsman Club
The Southside Sportsman Club was established by brothers Joel and Jared Fulton. They recognized that with the advent of the Shall Issue concealed carry weapons law in the state of Michigan that people would need a place to keep their shooting skills honed, especially inside the city limits. They also saw the need for training for the CCW law in a safe and controlled environment. The indoor range is licensed by the City of Battle Creek and is built to specifications recommended by the National Rifle Association and enforced by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. "It is our sincere hope that no one ever has to use a firearm in self-defense; it is our commitment to make sure they are prepared to do so if forced into the situation" Joel & Jared Fulton
